GLIMPSES OF THE SEA

I'VE SEEN THE VAST GRAND CANYON
WITH MY WIFE AS MY, COMPANION
AND VIEWED WHITSUNDAY ISLANDS OFF MY LEE.
BEEN AWAY FROM SEASCAPE SCENERY
AND ALL THE COASTAL GREENERY.
WHAT A THRILL TO GET THAT FIRST GLIMPSE OF THE SEA.

IT'S NATURAL, I SUPPOSE,
TO ADMIRE A LOVELY ROSE
AND THE PLUMGE OF A JACARANDA TREE.
I GAZE WITH FASCINATION
AT GOD'S GREAT PRESENTATION
AND THE PLEASURE OF MY FIRST GLIMPSE OF THE SEA.

WHEN THE SUNSHINE MAKES IT'S WAY
TO LIGHT UP MORETON BAY,
AND I DRIVE MY CAR TO WHERE I LOVE TO BE.
AS I APPROACH THE FINAL HILL
AND PREPARE MYSELF FOR THRILL
BEHOLD! MY FIRST GLIMPSE OF.THE SEA.

IT'S LIKE A NEW CREATION
THIS MAGNETIC FASCINATION.
GOOSE PIMPLES STANDING OUT All OVER ME.
CAN'T THINK OF A BETTER VIEW
TO SWITCH ME ON ANEW.
AND TO FEEL AGAIN. MY FIRST GLIMPSE OF THE SEA.
